I enjoy some of the older TV shows that have many episodes and seasons. I don’t enjoy the ads. However i have discovered that you can minimize the window while its showing the ad and attend to other things like checking emails, texting someone, etc. The only negative is, if I have to rewind or go forward in an episode, then I get a lot of ads. I really like the Prime content better than Netflix. So it’s worth it to me to put up with some ads.

Had a glitch (outlined below) but they fixed it within a couple weeks of my reaching out about it. Great to see! “Worked just fine for years, but now (just as I get into the new middle earth series) the app now shows a screen overlay that says something about x-ray and plays the video behind it without letting me see anything. I can still interact with the player like normal, but can’t see anything that I’m doing. Plus, there’s no error code, so there’s no support option for it. Thanks Amazon”

Very good. But I would like some improvements. 1. It would be good to allow downloading of shows while I’m watching a show. 2. It would be good to organize shows, for whatever personal reasons they might have, such as named lists of shortcuts. As an example, I would like to keep a list of shows which I plan to watch soon. NOTE: 1 of the q’s asked “Does this app have actor bios?”. Did you instead intend to use the word, “bias”? I answered I “not sure” because I don’t know what “actor bios” is.

Bigger and better selection for movies and shows than the other two comparable streaming services in same price range ( Netflix &Hulu). Plus if the movie you want to watch isn’t included with Prime. Most of the time it’s still available to rent or buy. Without costing an arm n a leg. Or if all else fails you In my experience most of the time whenever I look for a certain movie I want to watch on Netflix it just isn’t available at all..
