Bryce Harper had the perfect celebration for his broken-bat home run

Bryce Harper hit his eighth home run of the season on Monday night, and it will simply show up as a solo home run in the box score.

But, oh my, it was way more impressive than just that.

Harper shattered his bat in two, and the ball still cleared the right-field wall with plenty of room to spare.

Just whoa.

The only thing that had the home run beat was the celebration. Harper held what was left of his bat as he made his way up the first-base line.

That’s better than a bat flip.
