2020 athlete Demorie Tate commits to FSU football

Florida State is hot on the trail of talented 2019 recruits, but that does not mean that Willie Taggart and his staff are forgetting about the 2020 class.

During FSU’s annual Skills Camp, 2020 athlete Demorie Tate tweeted that he committed to the Seminoles.

Tate is a 6’2, 189-pound athlete from Freedom High School in Orlando. He is classified as an athlete by recruiting services, but will likely play defensive back for Florida State.

Right now, Tate is unranked on the 247Composite ranking. His only other offer comes from Lane Kiffin and Florida Atlantic.

FSU offered Tate on April 30th, so it speaks highly to the relationship the school established with him that he was willing to commit shortly afterwards.

Tate later shared a photo of himself and Taggart.

Florida State currently holds the No. 11 recruiting class in 2020 with three recruits: Tate, four-star athlete Jadarius McKight, and three-star linebacker Keyshawn Greene.
